The budget and gender website is a gender-responsive budgeting knowledge-sharing and management platform based on Latin America and the Caribbean experiences.

The Regional Office administers the platformfor the Americas and the Caribbean of UN Women, the United Nations Organization’s agency dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women that, among other priority work areas, promotes gender equality as a central aspect of planning and formulation of public budgets.
