Ecuador Since 2005, the Ministry of Finance has been working to mainstream the gender approach in the State’s General Budget. In 2008 they began providing specialized training, which resulted in the development of key tools.
El Salvador In El Salvador, the approach for the incorporation of the gender perspective began decades ago. In 2010, as part of their 2010-2014 Five-Year Development Plan, an intervention strategy was launched to mainstream gender equality in public policies.
